WVSU 1890 Scholarship
Preparing students for careers in food and agriculture.
Must be registered in one of the following degree programs:
- Bachelor of Science in Biology, option: Plant-Soil Science
- Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Concentration: Agribusiness
or - Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Concentration: Agricultural Economics
- Must be accepted for admission to WVSU and enrolled no later than one year after the date of acceptance
- Must have a 3.0 or higher
- Be enrolled and maintain full-time student status at WVSU, in a program of study in the food and agricultural sciences or a related field leading to an undergraduate degree during each quarter/semester that the student receives the 1890 scholarship support.
Additional Documentation Requirments
*Letter of recommendation from high school counselor or academic advisor to pursue the concentrations
*Submit a 500-800 word essay describing the applicant’s interest and intent to pursue a career in the food and agricultural sciences or related fields.
