Dr. George Oliver Curme Jr. Endowed Scholarship

1. The preferred candidate:
a) is an undergraduate, full-time student seeking a degree in one of the sciences; and
b) is in good academic standing with the university or demonstrates academic merit.

2) Financial need may be a consideration.
3) Dr. Micheal Fultz, Chair of the Chemistry Department and Advisor to the WVSU Chapter of the ACS, shall recommend recipients for this scholarship for as long as he serves on the faculty at WVSU. When Dr. Fultz is no longer associated with WVSU, the Chair of the Department of Chemistry and Physics shall recommend students to receive this scholarship.
4) More than one scholarship may be granted in a single year.
5) A scholarship award may be renewed upon satisfactory progress by the recipient.
