UniCare Health Equity Scholarship

The recipients of this grant will be for five (5) students who are pursuing a Nursing (BSN) or Social Work (BSW) degree. First preference is given to students who intend to practice as a Licensed Registered Nurse or Licensed Certified Social Worker in rural and/or diverse communities in West Virginia post graduation. If no such student applications are received, then those who are pursuing BSN or BSW degrees may be selected. Students should be properly enrolled at West Virginia State University. The final choice of the recipients of this grant will be made by the Office of Financial Aid acting upon the recommendation of the heads and/or committees of each Program Department.
