WVSU Collegiate Recovery Community Scholarship Opportunity
The mission of the WVSU Collegiate Recovery Community (CRC) is to provide a supportive community where students in recovery can achieve academic success while participating in a genuine college experience free from alcohol and other drugs. The CRC scholarship was established for students in recovery who are participating or will participate in the WVSU CRC. One letter of recommendation from an individual who can comment on your commitment to your recovery and email it to toledoke@wvstateu.edu.

Applicants must apply every semester to be considered for the scholarship. Scholarship does not automatically renew. Fall deadline is Sept 15. Spring deadline to apply is February 15th. Applicants are continually reviewed following submission of all documents. And awarded accordingly.

The WVSU Scholarship opportunity is grant funded and contingent on continued funding. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA- The applicant must: be actively pursuing recovery from a substance use disorder (9+ months or more), actively participate in the WVSU Collegiate Recovery Community, be a WVSU undergraduate or graduate student, and demonstrate successful academic performance. Students on academic probation are not eligible. Students seeking a WVSU Collegiate Recovery Scholarship (tuition or book) must: Complete the General Information Section and Application Requirements.
