A. Dayton Carpenter Scholarship

1. Undergraduate student in good academic standing with the University who maintains at least a 2.75 cumulative grade point average.
2. Student shall be from West Virginia.
3. Student shall be majoring in a science, technology, engineering or mathematics (STEM) field, or nursing, or be active with the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC).
4. Financial need is a requirement.
5. More than one scholarship may be granted in a single year.
6. Scholarship award may be renewed upon satisfactory progress by the recipient.
