The Alpha Zeta Centennial Scholarship was established by the Alpha Zeta Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity. The recipient must be recommended by the fraternity.

  1. WVSU Foundation Scholarship Offer Acceptance Survey
    • I understand that a maintenance of a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA) is required to retain the WVSU Foundation Scholarship The GPA will be evaluated at the end of each Spring semester.
    • I understand that I may be required to participate in student support services and programs to ensure success (e.g. honors program, academic, mentor and time management workshops, etc.).
    • I understand that I must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid each academic year to be considered for this scholarship.
    • I understand that if I am a recipient of additional scholarships, grants (federal or state) and other financial aid other than loans that this scholarship is subject to a reduction to ensure I am not over awarded as determined by the Office of Student Financial Assistance.
    • I understand that Satisfactory Academic Progress will be verified at the end of each Spring semester.
    • I understand that the final awarding of this scholarship is contingent upon verification of my final high school grade point average.
    • I understand that the WVSU foundation Scholarship is limited to a maximum of eight (8) undergraduate semesters excluding Summer of attendance at West Virginia State University. The scholarship funds may not be used to pay for summer school expenses.
    • I understand that the WVSU foundation Scholarship is only awarded for the Fall and Spring semesters and excludes the Summer sessions.
    • I understand that the WVSU Foundation Scholarship may vary based on the total financial aid package awarded with scholarship and grant funds. I understand that the total award will not exceed the cost of my financial aid budget to attend West Virginia State University.
