Opal Carter Far West Region Scholarship

1. Award will be based on need.
2. Student must be a sophomore or higher, with a minimum 2.5 GPA.
3. Student must intend to pursue a degree from the University, and be a full-time student (12 hours or more).
4. Students who reside within the Far West Region will receive priority consideration. If there are no eligible students in this region, students from other regions will be considered.
a. The Far West Region will rely upon the University Admissions Office for an eligible list of candidates.
b. The Admissions Office will adhere to the Far West Region criteria when recommending students.
c. The Alumni chapters within the Far West Region will make the final decision.
