Welcome to the Scholarship Opportunities Homepage. Below are a few key steps to take to ensure a seamless scholarship award process.

• In-state/Out-of-state students must complete your FAFSA and Financial Aid requirements before being eligible for a WVSU Foundation Scholarship.
• Submit your WVSU Foundation Scholarship application by October 26, 2023 to be considered for 2023/24 full year or fall 2023 scholarships. Must submit your application by January 19, 2024 to be considered for spring 2024 scholarships.
• Complete all questions on your WVSU Foundation Scholarship.
• Check your MyState emails weekly for possible updates, offers or further instructions. Students are OFFERED their scholarship AWARD by their MyState email. You must accept and submit a thank you to complete your award process.
• Please complete the acceptance and post-acceptance steps for any scholarship awards offered in order to receive scholarship(s)
• Foundation scholarships can take up to 4 weeks to award from completion of post- acceptance process by student.
• Foundation Scholarships may be adjusted, removed or added at the discretion of the scholarship committee according to student need and/or required criteria being fulfilled.
• Students risks loss of scholarship offer or acceptance if FAFSA, Financial Aid requirements and/or any other criteria not met is not completed within 30 days of offer or by October 26 for any full year or fall awards and January 19 for any spring awards.

Below you will find a listing of scholarships available to students with brief information about the scholarship qualifications. To apply to scholarships which require an application, you must first sign in with the same user name and password you use to access the campus login portal. You will then have the opportunity to complete a general application and, if applicable, also apply for specific scholarships.
